This will be a cool build for sure! Subscribed.

Still remember the Killer B Chevy in Top Truck. Fuckn badass when you dropped into that tire pit and WFO to the other end. Damn that was cool!

The CJ was sweet too. Call it old school or not, that is pretty damn close to how I'm building my CJ7.

Quick update...I got another 5.3 for a steal $350 from ecm to gas pedal. It is an 04 same as my alum 5.3 so all accessories will swap over. PSC swapped my TC pump over to a P pump for me that was cool of them. The Alum 5.3 is stripped down and possibly waiting a camshaft ;) I sold the cats off the. 5.3 I just got and the wire harness as well so now I have $450 into 2 complete running engines and everything to run them woohoo.
I am updating with my phone as we are in the process of having direct tv installed and waiting for the modem to arrive. Hopefully this weekend I will have the engine and trans mocked into the frame to start cutting the frame up to tube. To clear the portals.

Had a little time today so I cleaned the 5.3 pulled the intake cuz it was cracked during removal. I will use the intake from donor engine. I put the kevko pan on and my motor plates. Modified the kevko dipstick and used part of the factory tube and cut down the factory dip stick. It seals better than the chrome dipstick they sent. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, but not computer service until tuesday.

Are those the axles you traded the Truxus's for? I'm still running those tires, they see all of ~100 miles a year.

Looking forward to the build, subscribed.

well made a little me time this weekend!!! fedex brought me my converter and spacer from hughes. So I bolted the drive train together, and decided to make a cut so it officially has started (me destroying the jeep) I will hopefully have the front frame tied in by this coming weekend. Kim has been working a ton of nights and Ty my oldest has football every night and is playing fall baseball. Which leaves me little time with homework and all to work on the jeep.
