Yeah I was a spotter at Bundy's challenge last October. . . Holy Cow was that hard. I fell over on my back and just laid still for 5 minutes after the finish horn blew. Lots of up and down steep hills, pulling winch line, and slinging a heavy high lift jack. You had better plan on doing that at full speed ahead and nonstop too. I would say it was one of the hardest workouts I have ever had.

Your drivers need to drive better it sounds like, needing a spotter that much

Ha ha you were the spotter for Jon weren't you? You were whipped!!!

Sunday is ok with me. I'm sure most don't have to work Monday, so it still gives everybody a chance to do something with the family (even though you can do the comp w the family too)

I was . . . Jon is a pretty good driver . . . I just think the course was a little to built for his rig even though it is a nice set up.

Are spotter was the most awesomeness though. He hung in there longer then I would, and you got to admit, he was stylin' with that old 1970's snowmobile helmet.

I vote that Sunday would be better. I don't have a group to run the comp with but might come to at least watch.

changed to Sunday if it works better for everyone
just some constructive criticism from last year.

1. Atleast one judge per rig following, 2 judges for 3 rigs just don't work.
2. No intentional driving half off course to avoid obstacles
3. Make it so that if 3 rigs finish the course in time, they cannot be beat by a team that leaves a rig on the course (regardless if broke or simply times out).

$.02

Yep, good to try and get this straightened out before the day of the event. I'm sure there will be a lot of opinions. Good to be respectful of Ron and honor the rules he comes up with.

Ron, if you would, please update and post the rules in the first post so that everybody doesn't have to search all over this thread to see what/where they are.

Looking forward to having a good time
