Default Netflix price hike again. I'm done with them.

They can lick my sack.

"We are separating unlimited DVDs by mail and unlimited streaming into two separate plans to better reflect the costs of each. Now our members have a choice: a streaming only plan, a DVD only plan, or both.

Your current $9.99 a month membership for unlimited streaming and unlimited DVDs will be split into 2 distinct plans:

Plan 1: Unlimited Streaming (no DVDs) for $7.99 a month
Plan 2: Unlimited DVDs, 1 out at-a-time (no streaming) for $7.99 a month

Your price for getting both of these plans will be $15.98 a month ($7.99 + $7.99). You don't need to do anything to continue your memberships for both unlimited streaming and unlimited DVDs.

These prices will start for charges on or after September 1, 2011.

You can easily change or cancel your unlimited streaming plan, unlimited DVD plan, or both, by going to the Plan Change page in Your Account.

We realize you have many choices for home entertainment, and we thank you for your business. As always, if you have questions, please feel free to call us at 1-888-357-1516.

There was just a recent price hike....can't believe it's happening again.

Even for $15 a month, it's still an awesome service.

holy shit

Yes, I thought I was paying $7.99 for unlimited streaming and one dvd at a time, then it went to $9.99 and I didn't think it was still a bad deal. But then to up it by 60%.... No thanks. I just cancelled.

mine rarely works right anyway.

DVD's = 50% time scratched

Streaming = 85% times out or re buffering message. NOTE: my on demand works perfectly and so does my internet. I experience this on my Wii and my Blueray puter.

I am canceling and they can also lick a dick and suck a fukc .

I never bothered with the DVDs - we have had the streaming for less than a year - and it still (for us) is cheaper than using Charter's on-demand services - even if the overlap of movie choices is not a 1:1 exchange.

*shrug*

Still cheaper than using most On-Demand services. I hate having to pay more, but I use Netflix too much to find some other cost effective alternative...if one even exists.

Got that e-mail yesterday. They can kiss my ass. 33% increase in monthly fee with nothing in return is bs.

I will be cancelling before the rate increase sets in.
