Default Rocks in St. Helen - fun!!!

Went to the rocks up there for the first time over the 4th, had a blast, I had never tried crawling or even drove the blazer off road, I am addicted to the rocks. I probally spent 6 hours on the rocks alone over the weekend. Broke on the rocks but got it going and off again...... There where a few people there watching me as I was the only one playing, no one i was with had any experience but that didnt stop us... I wish I would have handed my phone to someone to take photos and vid of me but there isnt anything good just some posser looking pics I took while I wasnt moving.

I do need to up grade the strength of my steering componets and add an assits as its harder turning on the rocks then though......I have a mini spool in the front and am getting a bunch of binding as well... anyone have anyother ideas for a lockers orther than a slectable that will fix that. I have heard a detroit will let me steer.... I am just looking for options ofhter and $800 for a selectable.

Any locker except an ARB will let it steer. A simple lunchbox like a Lock-rite will be all you need.

Good to see you made it off the rocks! I was going to stick around but you guys said you had it under control. I was back up there this past weekend and made it to where I found you. I lost a bead trying to get over that last big rock on the left.

there was never a doubt that I wouldnt get off the rocks, They are harder than it looks. It was coming down one way or another. I was wondering if I would find you on here. Do you happen to have a plcae on state street? I passed a rig that looked like yours the next weekend in the driveway.....I went back the next weekend to the rocks with the wife but she wouldnt let me take her LR3 up

I have a detroit in the rear and a mini spool in the front...as long as the front hubs are ree it turns fine but with the spool and the hubs locked the front binds if your going slow or need to turn sharp.... the rear just chirps the tire on the inside of the turn that's no problem at all
