Your double standard about having a beer and wheeling was quite clear.

The Dog Party is a party style event. IF people get carried away they will be dealt with and IF they continue they will be asked to hit the campground or go home. Keeping in mind these events pull anywhere from 500-4000 rigs..........how in the hell do you expect them to police every mo-fo that rolls thru the gate. They do the best they can with the people available to work.

This park throws out the best comps in Michigan, they have the most difficult trails (other then the natural backhalf of Drummond) and are constantly working to add more, like this events newer , deeper, bigger mudhole. So they have a couple events that are "party" themed.......so fawkin what! They are working on making the campsites better and have LOWERED their gate fee to $10. These boys work their asses off to make a great place for us to wheel. If they want to have a party that basicly brings in more $$$ in 1 weekend then any other park pulls in a season I say by all means have at it! Here's the bottom line.........if it's a Dog PARTY and you don't like what has been said about them......then simply don't go to that event. If you are not going to the park on alternate weekends because of the Dog party's, well you are missing out on some great wheeling with wonderful people.

See you Twisted boys the 19th!!! I'll bring ya a case of beer for the campfire!!

If it is so clear explain it?

I don't like the public perception it can give our sport, but I couldn't give a shit less about it to be honest with you.

On the subject of the dog party UNDERAGE drinking is not cool. ALLOWING it is not cool, A BUSINESS/PARK allowing DRINKING and DRIVING is not smart. ESPESCIALLY with the number of people they have their and the ODDS of an accident occurring.

I mean seriously, you're good with a business allowing illegal activity until its "out of hand"?

I'm kinda confused where my double standard is?

Without getting on one side or another of this I have to say Chad has a point to some degree.

Becky you have to agree that the people that will look at this and make biased decisions about our "sport" are the people that have never been to this event and never will go to this event. They are just people that are looking for ammo to fight their cause of ending offroading. They see vehicles and they see drinking, that's it. You could argue it until you are blue in the face and that's all they will see. Kinda like when they see the pictures of those XJs at the Fossil Ledges on DI. They will assume that that's how we all roll.

From a business aspect I have to say these parties are probably a bad idea. Granted $5k in one day is amazing money considering an average weekend probably pulls a few hundred bucks. The problem is the day will come when someone gets hurt and alcohol is involved. All its going to take is some lawyer to dig through these posts and find an inkling of truth that the park owners knew that there was drinking going on at these parties and the lawsuit will be massive. I'm pretty sure that would mean financial ruin for the owners because I'd be willing to bet the insurance wouldn't cover anything under that pretense.

Personally I kinda think it is what it is. Theres a lot of place in life that we go where people make poor decisions. Some places you avoid, some places you don't. For example, think about leaving the bar at 2am sober and how many people are sharing the road with you that aren't. While I disagree with what goes on at that party I'm not going to say I'd never go to TT. Sounds like a neat place, just not for me on Dog Party day :)

jeepbratt you seem to be pretty passionate about this park which is a good thing, but what is so bad about constructive criticism to try and make it better? given some people are being over the top, but i don't see where some of us giving our opinion is ooo so terrible. christ you make it seem like some of us just kicked a baby in front of you

The only reason this loud and foul mouth woman is speaking positive about the park is. This is one of the only parks she is allowed in. From what I have been told this foul person is banned from rocks and valleys. Which by the way has the better trails and respects the sport by not allowing drinking and wheeling. It takes a narrow minded, thin skin person to run their mouth on here and not accept some criticizing or the view point of others.

critisizing is one thing but spewing out lies to bad mouth a park isnt cool on any level.

I choose not to go to Dog Party because of the stories I have heard. I have been to Twisted Trails and enjoyed the park but Dog Party is not my thing.

I have never been
I will never go
That is all......

OUCH!! Not sure if this is true or not but I have chatted with Becky on Facebook before and I have met Erin (who I know this is not about but last I knew they were together)before. Both seemed to be good people that I have nothing bad to say about.

you better get you facts strait before you run your mouth like that.. banned from rocks and valley? she supports the sport 100%. has donated items to rocks and valley for auctions, helps promote parks and events, donated money and time for benafit's,has spent a ton of her hard earned money for this sport. she has the right to speak her mind.she has earned that..
you on the other hand have made very few post's and 90% of them have been negative. except to say how awesome the kid was that spotted you threw the easy course at the jeep blessing.
she is my girlfriend, so speak shit to her and it also goes to me.

i am not getting into the bullshit about twisted trails...i would just like to ask how you know there was under aged drinking? you guys go ask them for there id? there is drinking in every park..some is just not seen as much as others.

i will always 100% support twisted trails !!! awesome park and some great people that i am proud to call my friends..i thank them for all there hard work to make a place for us to wheel and enjoy the sport.

chad i am going to tell kc to slap you.....

I have no idea what the hell just happened on that post!

Ok, to clarify....I am NOT banned from R&V. I just got off the phone with Ron and he has no idea where this guy got his info from or even who he is.

I would LOVE for mightyxj to come introduce himself to me at the team comp Labor day weekend.......

Chad, I will let you and Erin play a game of slap and tickle to work out your issues.

Here's the thing, I get ticked when people just can't not go to an event they don't agree with. Instead, we have people bitching and moaning about a park some of you have never even been to. I'll compare it to a boobie bar, don't like it?? DONT GO......but guess what folks, it's not going anywhere........

Furthermore, there was NO need to bring up a womans death or a kids trouble that had zero to do with the event or park. that was out of line.
