Your truck is sweet. Lower it like 20 inches and all will be well with the world!

Lol...20 inches would give me 8 inches of ground clearance in the belly and I could listen to some low rider by war...it is tall but the no fenders with the tube up front blows it a little out of proportion until you are next to it...don't get me wrong its high but not what the pictures make it out to be....plus with a SAS on these years trucks you need at least 4-6 over stock to clear the engine cradle which I didn't really want to get rid of.

I have my radiator mount almost finished up. I think I am going to take a small piece of angle and stitch it down to the top plate of the radiator mount to stiffen it. I was suprised how much the 1/4" flatbar would give under not a whole lot of pressure on the adjusting rod. Here are some pics of it. The radiator is isolated between the steel in all clamping portions by 1/4" thick rubber.

Well, I figured I would bring this thread back to life. I ended up purchasing the truck with intentions of finishing it up to replace my ranger that I had last year. Plans for it include

Fuel injection
Air shocks in the rear
Airs/coilovers uo front but still undecided
Swapping a 60 in eventually
Throwing some more tube in the cage to fill in some voids
Winch
Possibly switching the front to a 4 link so I have an excuse to do full hydro

Progress on it has been slow. I purchased a propane setup off a guy on Craigslist without even realizing that it was all seized together and in need of a full rebuild. I had another 351w out of my bronco that I was building with the computer/wiring harness, and intakes so tonight I swapped that all over. Still waiting to mount my other two tsls and putting them on the rear. Here are a few updates though.

That's pretty much progress from when I got it until now. Forgot to mention I went and picked up my old 2.0 16" fox airs for the rear from feva4u a few days back. Thanks Brandon for keeping them nice and warm in your garage. Hoping to lower this thing down 6-8"

It's 2.5/.250 wall outer and 2.0/.250 inner.

I didn't even consider balancing it because it won't ever see street, and probably won't ever go over 30-35. Although it is pretty square (no pun intended). It would take quite a bit to bust it..

Made a little progress this weekend, got my tires mounted and switched around finally. Also started on the dash. Cut out a couple small pieces of 20ga to fill in the voids and a place to put my gauges, battery disconnect, and push button start. I'm still trying to figure out where to mount my battery and 6al. Any pros or cons to mounting them directly in the cab?
This week we are getting the rear end mocked up for my air shocks, hopefully lowering it down at least 6".

Swing on over when you're back and you can help me figure out a center console, as well as where to put my shifter, twin sticks, and cutting brakes.

Slowly making progress getting it back down to the height it should be at. Made a set of shock hoops and tabs for the rear but it still needs to go down another inch or two in the rear. Started adding to the cage as well, because I need a spot to hide the propane tanka out if harms way. Here's a few pictures. Any input as far as the cage lines that I have taped off?
