Default There is something wrong with my 6.0L diesel

It has 183K miles. It isn't leaking any oil, the oil temp and colant temp are within 8 deg of each other so I know my oil cooler is acting correctly, I get 17 mpg unloaded on road trips, my truck and trailer combined weight is 21,000 lbs and I get 10.5 mpg pulling at 70 mph. It is a lot quiter than my 7.3 and has a lot more torque. Can someone tell me what is wrong? I'm worried.

My guess is somebody else took the $3k spanking on the injectors or you are just lucky.

I have a '96 Contour that has been a great little car so I guess I've beaten the odds too.

The only things I can find wrong with that post is that you're pulling at 70 mpg and your coolant looks a little short. Other than that it looks perfect.

Seriously though, amusing post.
