Stock v. stock the u-joint shafts are stronger. If you upgraded to RCV's then yeah they are a lot stronger than the stock u-joint shafts.

Can I run a 93 xj shaft in my tj? I know there vacuum disconnect and have the smaller ujoints but does that matter? I can change the ujoint size to the bigger 270x correct....

You canít run that shaft because it is a 2 piece shaft and requires a vacuum actuated collar to engage/disengage the axle.

I would run the ZJ shaft from AutoZone. If it broke you can still drive on it to some degree, as it wonít bind up as you drive. Remember the drive from the dunes to the campground

The best part is that it carries a life time warranty, which I know you will use
