Default ***SOLD*SOLD*SOLD***Nsfw: 1996 f250 psd eclb 2wd

Specs:

1996 F250 XLT, extended cab long box
7.3L PSD, 5-spd manual trans
2WD 3.55:1 10.5" sterling w/trac-loc
180,8xx miles

Changes / Mods / Whatever
New waterpump and hotter t-stat - 98K
New SMFW and clutch around 125K
New biggestbatterieswiththelongestwarranywalmartoffers - 150K
New u-joints / center bearing / pinion seal - 158K
New brakes/rotors/drums/front coils/front suspension bushings - 175K (about $1200 in parts)
4" downpipe / cat delete
Tymar intake
twildman chip (high idle/stock/50/75/100hp)
Boostguage OMGWTFBBQ!
31" goodyear MT/R tires; 60% or more left; spare is unused
Bedrug bedliner
Front receiver hitch / tow points
Bilstein HD shocks

Good:
Starts/runs great, nothing unusual - just a good old 7.3.
Brakes feel better than most new vehicles.
Less rust than normal - has been repainted once (before I got it).
I think the fuel tanks are nearly full (and both work) - probably $120 in fuel.
Cold A/C, cruise, power windows & locks - all works.

BAD:
It is time for the glow plugs to be replaced again (they're good for 75-100K) - about $100 in parts and a couple of hours to do.
Some rust-through starting on rear wheel wells.
The tailgate is beat-up; it's a working truck.
Speedo fixed.

It's been a good truck, and I would keep it, except I can't get the fock out of my driveway in winter. I could if I kept a load in the bed, but I"m usually trying to go get more firewood (empty bed) when I get stuck.

And so you don't have to look it up on KBB / Edmunds:

LOL, optioned out, KBB gives you this:

Private Party

* Excellent $7,005
* Good $6,655
* Fair $6,105

Optioned out, Edmunds gives you this:

Total $1,609 $2,384 $4,033

Doh! KBB lists the truck for $6100, Edmunds lists it for $2400; rough average would be $4200.
I think it is worth $3000 cash in the current condition (based on other trucks for sale on the internets).

So, bottom line:
$3000 cash

Trades considered:
4WD qwad w/plow
or
Decent truck snowplow that will fit a 2011 GMC 2500
or
kickass tractor w/plow

Other trades entertained, but I have plenty of firearms, paintball guns and stereo equipment; please keep those items for yourself.

That's actually a motorcycle knobby bracelet. AFAIK, Sandals is the only one that uses scrunchies.

Bump for exterior pics. Finally cleaned out the bed (scrap metal run) and gave her a good washing.

since I've been getting a lot of the same question:

FUEL ECONOMY
Highway:
Empty, driving 75 mph: 18 mpg
Empty, driving 65 mph: 20+ mpg (took a trip to EJS and back -with motorcycles)
Loaded, as in the picture above, 65 mph: 16.4 mpg average over 7000 mile trip

City/mixed driving, it gets around 18 empty, 15 loaded.

No thank you - we had a 2000 ZR2 Blazer, and while it was sweet - we don't need a 4WD SUV ( we have Saabaru wagon and an AWD Astrovan )

Thank you for asking!
