Question t18 swap into a 4.2 yj?

I have a t18 jeep style, swapping into 89yj 4.2. wondering if there's anything i need to worry about before getting this thing all the way up there. then find out there's something else i need to do to make it fit. any info would help.

Do you have the correct bellhousing?

Pilot bushing is different too.

What T-case are you using dana 20?

If your using a Jeep cj t-18 trans, which will use a D-20 t-case it will be passenger side drop t-case and your "YJ" is a drivers drop case.
Which means it will work only if you swap your front axle out to a passenger drop.(which you can find out of a jeep CJ or an early Waggy D-44 P-drop axle, etc)
If anyone disagrees with me speak up, thx.
