Default Don't worry about the hunting knife, get the granny with the diaper.

Thanks TSA for making our skies secure.

http://omg.yahoo.com/blogs/thefamous...-security/1600

Garret Dillahunt is an actor on the Fox sitcom "Raising Hope." Dillahunt likes to carry a small hunting knife around with him, just in case he wants to carve his initials in a tree or bathroom stall, we presume. But when he went to the airport on Monday, he totally forgot he had it! Not that the TSA noticed. Dillahunt tweets: "Oops. Walked right through airport security with this little number." Little, but lethal.

Dillahunt insists he's a "whittler, plain and simple," and predicts "a lifetime of hassles by the TSA. A sacrifice I am willing to make to ensure the safety of our skies."

America: where armed Hollywood actors sail through security, and elderly women are forced to remove adult diapers in nonsensical, humiliating pat-downs.

I did the same thing last time I flew out of Lansing. Found the knife in my coat pocket after I arrived at my destination. A little Gerber knife with a two inch blade.

Sounds like the TSA is concentrating too much on one thing.

I am betting the knife was more dangerous than an old lady's diaper.

We arent playing what if. We should be more concerened with what really happened.

You're just like the media, going out to flame those you don't like without the facts.

She wasn't forced to remove her diaper.

You flew and was screened by TSA? Did you go through the process? And you say you don't like/accept it... but there you are, going through security everytime you fly. And the only thing you do to motivate a change within TSA is to post your whinings here on GL4x4? Why not admit it, you are just a poop-pot stirrer, and you have no intention of actuating a change.

I'm pretty sure I can play "what if" if I want to. Nobody gave you the ultimate say in what we can do here.

I was merely putting up a devils advocate argument. Howell_jeep went on and on about that little old lady (in another thread) and I was merely asking him what he woudl have thought if they did find something. Would he still be mad that they searched her?

Same shit, (or piss in this matter) different day.

http://www.freep.com/article/2011072...text|FRONTPAGE

A man with bladder cancer whose humiliating security pat down at Detroit Metro Airport ended with urine from his urostomy bag spilled on him said Friday that he was mishandled again by a screener last week.

So do we slam the agency, or the idiot who treated him poorly?

Do we slam the idot who treated him poorly or do we hang the idiots boss? Perhaps we slam the training department? Maybe we should just punish the officer who *appears* to not have done his job properly.

But it is media, and they love to have a hey-day with anything they can.

I bet Howell_Jeep is crying right now because you beat him to the punch. He's upset for not being able to post this and blame me for this travesty....
