Default solid axle swap on 2000 silverado

I'm planning on doing a sas on my truck. But I need to find a front axle out of Luke a 78 f250. I also need some help figuring out transfer cases. I would like to keep my push button 4x4. To do that I will need a np243 t-case but I have heard its almost impossible to wire it up to work. But I really don't want to cut a hole in my floor.

Check with your step dad; he has some friends that should be able to hook you up with an axle and info.

I know the np241 with the floor shift would be easiest. But I really wanna try an keep the push button. Anyone know anything about the wiring for them. Or a roundabout price for a np243

I kept the push button when I SAS'd my old truck. The light on the button always blinked, but otherwise worked just fine. I had to chane my front output yoke as the stock one is not meant foe the driveshaft to move, and is way overbuilt in the ears.

why dont you just use a 77-79 ford HP 44 or 60 axle they are driver drop and never have to mess around with switching t-cases.

www.wfoconcepts.com has all the parts and sell the steering knuckle you will need for x-over steering along with brackets and everything else. Stand up guys.
