price seems really high, unless it is already packed with all the goodies. if its bone stock ive seen many 150ish even cheaper if you find the right deal

Big axles mean big ring and pinions means big prices to get them set up for your application.

For example, a Yukon Grizzly Locker for the 14T goes for a little over $400, but an ARB air locker has a map price of $1075.29. Its tough to find ring and pinions for less than $200 for this axle. So it depends on how its upgraded - this is why you might see someone selling a built 14T for $1500 or more.

But the stock axles themselves are quite plentiful. GM used them for a long time in 3/4 and 1 ton pickups.

Rear axles in stock form with drum brakes just are not worth much. Just look in the completed sale forum. I think one sold just last week for $100. If I recall I bought mine off here last year or so and I gave $150 for it.

I can fine them for $100. to $150. all the time. That is for a stock axle. If it has a 4.56 gear then maybe $200.

gear ratio? when was it pulled? does it look like it was sitting on the bottom of the ocean or is it in useable condition?

i am honestly not sure of the ratio, i took it on a trade from a guy on here, he said it was stock ratio. i'll try and get it figured out tonight, said he just pulled it off another mud truck and everything is in good order. doesn't look bad, i'd use it if i could. i'll try and get some tonight and put them up tmrw. it is also a semi-floater
