Default B & M shifter Adjustment

I have a B & m mega shifter hooked up to a dodge 727 do i have to adjust it some how and how do i doit? thanks any help would great.

There are 2 adjustments, both at the trans. One larger being the cable outer on the bracket that bolts to the trans and another at the shift linkage on the trans. One trick I do is have the shifter and trans in neutral with the cable unhooked and adjust until the pivot on the cable fits the shift hole smoothly. Snug everything up and run the shifter thru the gears to make sure it's hitting all gears.

This works best with 2 people. One in the rig and one under by the trans checking shifter in all the gears.
