Had a riot. My dad and I went to the proving grounds on Sat and then ran to Muskegon on Sun morning. People were waving from their lawn chairs roadside from Flint.... it was pretty cool. We ended up parking by the railroad tracks in front of Mart Dock, watching the traffic and drinking beer. Had a great time, wish we could have continued south....

(It was also the first time I have driven my car since I started a frame-off restoration 8 years ago, small sense of pride in finishing it, hitting the road, doing big smokey burnouts and driving it home =) )

It was cool. I hung out for about 6 hours and didn't make it more than 1/2 way through everything. I didn't bother with any pics but there was definately some cool rides there.
I even took the Bronco up.
Adam and I were side by side going over the Grand Haven bridge and both dropped the hammer at the same time. What a beautiful duet!!!!

Sounded good

It was cool cruising with all the hot rods, not very often you merge on the highway next to a Nova, Camaro, a Shelby and a t-bucket...lol That was just getting on to bus. 96

Going home thru GH people were everywhere sitting in chairs giving thumbs up and asking for burnouts

Thanks for the info, that would be so cool!!! It'd be neat to have a bunch of us West Siders all come in and park together when they come back. The Bikers do it, why not us?
