Think I'm immune as well, have been places where others have gotten it and never had any effect on me. My friend Pete can just look at it and get a reaction now it seems. He has had it a couple times really bad. He got it once before he left for his summer drill for the Guards and got it all over his stomach and thighs, from sleeping in a sleeping bag. Was almost hospitalized for it as well.

What I've found to work is a thick mix of oatmeal, and cover the area for about 15 mins....

I've had this recommended to me by a nurse practitioner as a preventative. I've also seen some articles that claim it will lessen any symptoms once you do get the itch.

Nothing works. I've tried EVERYTHING. Steroid shot from the doctor is the only thing that works for me. It will continue to spread until I get one.

Use a hairdryer on it...the heat feels great, better than scratching it. Plus it helps dry it out. I normally hit it with peroxide a few times a day along with the blowdryer trick, and it is normally gone within a week.

So since they never got near the tree...that leads one to believe they got it from your pecker. Their ass, hands and mouth covered in the ivy blisters?

A friend of mine thought the same thing and rubbed it all over his crotch. A couple weeks later I got a picture that showed the extent of his rash.

5 years in the Army rolling around in South Georgia PI and no issues. 1 summer job landscaping in MI. and 4 years later I still have a dry hairless patch on my calf ( every winter) from where the PI took root.

Actually have a small case of it going on right now...been playing the suck it up, drive on, self discipline game for a couple days now..but this is a light round..

PI doesn't spread...it seems like it does because it all doesn't pop up at the same time, but the truth is it doesn't spread...if you get it different areas it is because you have exposed yourself in those areas and have come in contact with the plants oils

x2 on brake clean, I usuall have some in the barn, and at work. Sounds bad, but it dries the hell out of your skin, does do much for the itching though.

Picked up the CVS version of Zanfel. Scrubbed the shit for 3-5 mins last night with it in the shower, another 1-2 this morning in the shower, and it actually looks better.

Regardless whether the stuff heals it, it does make it quit itching...went at least 7-8 hours today without it itching at all. We'll see how well it works on drying it up...may not work as well in this regard as bleach, but it also isn't likely to give me cancer in another 20 years lol
