Default 82 Ramcharger no crank

bought new truck started it drove it on trailer get home go to start it and just click from the bendix .
checked grounds cleaned reinstalled
replaced starter relay with another
have 13.6v at the starter
replaced with different starter after bench test and no spin
still just the bendix engaging nothing spins

Can you jump the terminals on the starter while it's bolted in? Can you turn the motor over by hand ( breaker bar)?

when jumped the bendix just engages started dont spin
motor turns over by pulling on the belts

Have you tried a different battery? all the cables good? you got voltage but what about amperage? how much resistance is in the main cable from where the battery is to where the starter hooks up?

no on battery but it has 13.6 v and started great last night before the trailering home

i just looked at the cable running from battery to starter looks kinda corroded
checking amps and ohms

lots of resistance like 25. ohms
looks like a new cable is in order hope thats all

and i need more hands to check amps

yeah that is alot of resistance. if you want to check you can run a jumper cable in place. clip on to the terminal and touch it to the solenoid and see if it turns it over.

exactly what i did
the cable ends fell off as i was pulling it out of the truck
puled one off the old truck and she starts
