Default the PITA DD build

this is/was the wifes "mid-life crisis" toy. she drove it once or twice and didnt like it so now I drive it. It's a 94 wrangler with a 2.5l and I was told a 4in sprring lift running 31x10.50x15. Shortly after buying it we bought another half of a jeep (frame, tub and hard top). when we bought it needed some work but was driveable until just recently. Well the frame rot was to much for me to think that I could safely drive it as a DD so it got pulled in the garage to get repaired. I bought the frame repair kit from 0IIIII0 and a chunk of 4in x 3/16th thick C channel to replace the rear x-member. Picked up some newer tires and a brush guard from this site. My avitar is a pic of what it looked like (minus the bumper mounted lights) when we got it.

this is what she looks like now

old factory x-member

just towed it back to the garage from my welders house and it looks better than I imaged. I used the frame plates from 0IIIII0 but we did our own twist on them. Instead of welding them over the old frame we cut the old frame off till we were past the rust then once that was all welded up we added the new x-member. Here are the before the paint pics.

x-member

drivers IB

drivers OB

pass IB

pass OB

and a pic of the front before the brush guard reinstall and tow hooks
