Default Ranger Speedometer Gear Questions

I need a different gear for my '94, 4cyl, 5 speed, 2wd Ranger.

Anyone know what year and models would use the same gears?

After browsing the web a bit with my phone, it looks like Ford speedo gear #'s don't match up to the Jeep chart I have at home; so I need to know what gear I need I suppose.

I had 3.55 gears and swapped in 4.10's.
My tire size is 25 or 26 inches (205/60/15)

If any of you Ford guru's know what gear I need or where to get it, please let me know.

Thanks!

-Kevin

these gears seem to be really hard to come by.

There was a color code (color of the plastic gear) to gear ratio chart on therangerstaoin somewhere, i've used in the past.

I probably have one or two laying around, i think i have a pink and red in my tool box.

If they are the ones you need, send me a PM and i'll dig them up for you.

I would love it if you could check into if you have those gears. I imagine I need whatever one comes with the 4.10 axles. I will check that site when I can use a computer; it is a pain trying to look stuff up with my phone.

I will have to look Tuesday on my day off. I had 3.55 factory gears if you know off hand what color went with those gears from the factory. That link is just what I was looking for though, thanks.

ANY Ford vehicle that is 4wd or has a manual transmission will have the correct gear design for your transmission. There were only 2 styles made, those for 2WD auto trans and then 4wd and Manual trans.

Here is a site to help you figure out what number of teeth you need for the driven gear. A junkyard might be the best place to find one cheap, or search online and you will find them for around $15-20 ea.

Forgot to ask, what model is the 5 speed 2wd? I couldn't find a tag on it anywhere.
