Weld it, that would be the cheapest. You can unlock a hub on the tight trails if you need to. If you are dead set on a locker, get an aussie.

Well i gotta drive it everyday so welding it is not a viable oprtion for me thats why i was asking about a locker... The rear end I'm getting has an Aussie locker but i can't find the one specifically for my application on the fron end... The only locker I found that was specifically for the Dana 35R is a Powertrax Lock Rite...

Thanks to Chase I'm gonna get the rest of the parts to finish the truck for now. When I get tired of running it like that then comes the small block. I'm debating on whether or not I wanna do a blown 302 or a 347 stroker when i get that far. What are everyone's thoughts?

There's a few write ups out there with swapping in a newer 4.0 sohc and using the ohv harness and ECM. There's a sweet b2 over on TRS with an sohc and a build thread. And there one on explorerforums as well. 50hp and basically bolt in.

The 4.0 is not bad but i wanna stay 3.0 for now then go small block. i think when i do that it's gonna be about 400-450 hp and a stick. Besides that with the 4.88's I'll have more then enough power to turn my 31's. Thanks a lot for the info though.

I thought I read that you had the 4.0. N/m for that kinda effort I'd do the 5.0 as well.
