Default Wiring

I'm sure this is the wrong area but here it is.

I have a 97 tj and it has a tailer hitch but no wiring. i plan on using it too tow a small garden trailer with it (2" reciverr) but want to know if there is an easy way to get the "trailer wiring" connected to my jeep ?

I have used splices and things of that sort for the camper trailer I built in 2008 but was wondering if there was a "plug and play" option for wrangler TJ's?

I believe there is. I would bet a uhaul or hitch house would probably stock it.

uhaul didn't have one for my cherokee... the napa auto parts did. its a T style connector with a box in the center, apparently for the jeeps you need the box because it has diodes and resistors that keep your lights working correctly.

thats how it is with cherokees.
