Default is 4x4" the same as 4x100mm bolt battern

Hey all
I have a camper right now that has a 4x4" bolt pattern. I am looking to go to some bigger tires because i can not stand the little 8" rims that are on it. I see a lot of 4x100mm rims off of civics and stuff and was wondering if that was the same. I keep finding mixed answer to this questions and i know that 4" is not EXACTLY 100mm.

Thanks

100mm is 3.93 inches, not sure if that is close enough to work
