This is how much modification I had to make to original kit. As u can see the left tube is a little bigger now. Was going to retube long side but ended up sleeving it.

When you add .5 inches to the overall dia.of one side boy does that change the geometry of this what alot of work just to get to this point.

I filled in the short side and all the way around the diff. Why I don't know. I guess I felt like it needed more weight I mean structure...lol and close up of welds so every Tom dick n Harry can critique my hillbilly welding. Lol

it'll probably hold, but I think you need rockwells, you've detonated three axles now, right?

Yeah, I would definitely adjust your wire speed and gas mixture and technique.

I would be worried it would pull to the one side since you have speed holes on one side, but not the other.

I defer to kickstand on the weld quality.

Maybe tie it to a tree and full throttle reverse a couple times.

After welding a small piece of .25 plate to the opening onto the two truss ends were they meet I had a good platform to start my axle side Panhard bar mounts this is how it started out. Needed a bolt to go threw the mount for shock removal. This is were I discovered that harbor freight makes a pretty good Step bit for the money let's see how many holes it will drill threw .25 inch plate.

Full stuff my Panhard needed some room so left over tube from long side axle repair should work. Steering got a little tight because I wanted to make my Panhard as long as possible.
