Project 48 First Time Jeep Build

Starting out on my first Jeep build Project. Working with a 99 TJ, 158K on the clock a little rough on the edges and faded Q/PR4 paint.
I have added Highline fenders and new inner fenders and I am looking for opinions on the finish for the inner fenders. I originally was planning on paint or powerder coat, but I kind like the aluminum look to them.
Looking for your input make them red, or keep them aluminum?

The Highline pics below.

Should I keep the aluminum look, or make them red?

I would match front to rear. Are you considering a complete repaint at some point?

Thanks they are Poison Spyder Defenders 3" flare.

Planning on a re-paint much later, I have a pile of parts to add, and buy first. I may get fancy and get out the polishing wheel and compound.
