show me a tow rig that gets better than 15/mpg in shitty city traffic from gary indianna through chicago.

who's fault is it that you're an overly sensitive foreskin?

My 7.3l IDI doesn't do to bad. It's about 13 with a trailer in tow, then add in the fact that half the tank is full of veggi oil or WMO oil and it really isn't doing bad.

It can't be that bad. I'll loan you the moped if you want to tow it? It's a frakin beast, that sticker adds at least 30hp.

I bet you would, that's my point. I don't think I can fish them out from under my doublewide. They shot uder there one day when I was doing a brake stand and the Elmer's glue failed.

I'll give you $20 if you can fish them out. You will just have to watch out for the family of coons that lives under there. I'm pretty sure one of them is rabid but my Red Ryder BB gun won't make a dent in him.

want to talk expensive? shop dealer prices for brakes on BMW's... I was quoted $1,400 for pads, rotors and pad sensors on mine... I'm a cheap hillbilly of course, wanting to be a yuppy, so I did it myself for $300 worth of parts

cracker carries a desert eagle, not because it's a good gun, but because it makes the bulge in his pants more prominent. but it'd probably do ok against a coon

he's also so gangsta that when he grenaded his viper at the edge of pontiac, he just left it there, top out, windows down (hope his inbox doesn't blow up again about people asking him about the viper :p )

Expensive was when I picked up my heads. $2800 for the head work and that wasn't including parts or the price of the heads. That one hurt a little but hopefully it will be worth it. Import stuff has a crazy mark up for what it is. My wife has a Volvo that I got for free and my neighbor hit it the other day. $1200 for just a rear quarter. I said screw that and sold it to my brother for cheap.

I would bust out the AR but I'm afraid It would go through 5 trailers before it stopped in a hookers back and I really don't feel like digging a hole today.

- and you know the driver's gonna reef the hell outta those ratchet straps too.

Thanks for the clarification.

Hell yeah they will. Those guys could dent a Sherman tank with a q-tip. Over building stuff doesn't get you points at my job but it does keep stuff from coming back the next day. The best weld test in the world is a truck driver in a hurry.

I was laughing my ass off when I got to work yesterday. The whole Elmers glue this seriously happened to me yesterday. I had a 20yd open top come in that needed a door seal. I swear to you that it came from a glue factory and I spent 2 hours heating and scraping that shit off the door of it so it would seal. I'll get pictures tonight, I kid you not.

Wrong. Given that they are held together by a perimiter weld, if they see a side load, the 2 plates will tend to shear.

And to the OP, why is it that you are hell bent on doing some kind of a bet? First you want to bet about pulling your bumper off and then you want to bet on the drag strip. Not that people on this site don't race, but this is a 4x4 website, not a hot rod car web site. Why don't you bring your badass super horsepowered truck up to Canada and run some rock trails with us? Tit for tat I say.

Now why would I put it on the rocks when it wasn't built for that? I would however do that when the wifes truck gets finished but it will be awhile since I don't have alot of spare time lately. I wanted some entertainment for the day and you guys sure didn't dissapoint me. I figured it would be funny as hell if one of you guys actually got worked up enough to come down here only to go home bumperless. The video of that would be well worth the $500 and me having to take another hour to build a bumper.

With that, I agree, but with a d-ring in there (also acted upon in shear) - I think it would be near as tough as a solid piece.

Nothing I said in here was personal. That's why I changed my post earlier quoting the female who posted in here. I felt it would be taken in the wrong way.

Here's how the bet would of went down. You would of hooked up to my truck with me laughing the entire time. You would have either yanked my shit off or not with me laughing again. Then I would have busted out the 3/4" dozer chain I keep handy and did a holeshot from your truck about 75' until something seperated from one of our vehicles. Now that video would be funny and worth every penney. It also would have givin me the excuse I needed to truggy that truck like I should anyway.

Anyone know of a place to get a Viking helmet from? I need a way to protect my head so I don't get anymore head injuries while riding my moped.
