ultimatehellhound I think your bumper is more super-badder-assed than anything anyone on this site can build you should sell it for $399. $299 sounds like it's too good to be true! You go girl!!!!
Got $500 and truck to come try it with? Didn't think so.

Remind me again what it was you were looking for? BTW, if you're going to post pics of your mostest badass past projects, you may want to post some showing them completed and not Elmers glue'd together just for the sake of a photo.

I don't believe anyone was saying that you are inexperienced or that this was your first bumper build. But You asked if anyone would be interested in buying this bumper for a set price and by posting in a public forum, you, are subject to getting criticism whether you like it or not. When people tried to give their opinion on how to make the bumper stronger (which is something people in the offroad community look for when purchasing "upgrade" parts) you over reacted by betting they can't bend or break it. There's people on this forum who probably have more experience building, wheeling, breaking, fixing, designing, redesigning, and education in engineering than you do. Now I'm not saying that you are not smart or good enough, I'm just saying that you need to be open to other ideas people have if you want to build quality pieces that are safe and strong.

Good idea.

Ignore these guys, they are just being assholes. You should post this on Pirate 4x4, at least those guys will respect the work you put into the bumper...and you may actually sell a few there.

It made 1016hp spinning the tires. It's good for 1500hp this time. Here's a little more info.

My opinion on the first one is it's a nice layout. But for the love of god turn the heat on your MIG welder up since you have no penatration.

am I supposed to be impressed? I am not. Also building a motor and being competent at it and building a bumper are two different things.

I know lots of motor builders who can't even weld, and welders who can't even chainge oil. It happens, so your ugly ass mustang proved nothing.

Yeah, I'm sure that Bones and the guy who built that chassis (fyi, both raced in KOH, and the guy that built that chassis has sold multiple buggies, his welding is not in question, I have seen it first hand)

Your bracket needs to be gussetted differently, it's constructive criticism, unfortunately you're not smart enough to understand it and take it and make your bumper better.

Don't be salty because I can weld a garbage dumpster better then a so called racecar chassis builder. How does his O-ring taste? Does he give you a discount because of it?

Cell Phone pics from work.

Please don't try to tell me that it will be as strong as a solid piece. Otherwise will will have to get into a discussion about what happens when materials are in shear.

Can you read? Let's try this again..............................

Come hook YOUR truck or Jeep up bumper to bumper and yank mine off and you win $500. Not your Dozer, Tractor, Semi, belly button ring, tampon cord, or anything that doesn't invole YOUR truck or Jeep. So no, you cannot try it with the Abrams you borrowed from the nasty girls.

Why would you ask for feedback, and then get all bent out of shape when you receive it? Why bash potential customers, instead of just making a simple adjustment to your design to make everyone happy?
