I did not click on this for a few days for a number of reasons. #1 is corvettes are gay as hell, #2 I really dont care, and #3 I knew there would be no tit pics.

Just because someone gets a good job doesn't mean they are going to blow their money on a car. Some people choose to spend their money on more important things such as housing, food, and savings... And you cant just assume that since someone takes a lot of schooling means they are getting a high paying job. I know plenty of people who turn down high paying jobs just to do what they love. Justin = Prime example. Turned down a very well paying job to become a diesel tech because he loves working on trucks. I would support anyone who does that. Why waste your life doing something you dont want to do everyday. If you like your job then you will enjoy everyday of work. Buying a nice car would be the last of my concerns if I was living in my parents basement. You just got told by a 16 year old.

I am skeptical about the credibility of this cool story, bro. It's a lot like Justin Beiber giving advice on what drinks to buy the ladies at a bar. Something just doesn't fit right.

Well the reality is no one knows the whole story. Maybe her b/f's parents want them there and need the help around the house, or maybe since they are still young the parents do not mind them there while they are in school. If that is the case then you might as well try and have some fun and splurge before you do have to pay for a house and all the bills that come with one.

I honestly see nothing wrong with what they did. If the parents are begging them to leave it would be different but somehow i doubt that is the case.

This is no different then a lot of the people i run into at off road parks who blow money on their wheeler when they are struggling financially. If everyone went through life always doing the responsible thing then no one would have any toys or any fun and all their money would go to paying debt off as fast as possible and to a retirement account since you can never have too much money when it comes time to retirement.

FWIW school is more than a full time job in most cases so it is not like they are lazy.

I agree for the most part. But if I had that kind of money, I would have put it in alot better places then a car. Investments, or something that would hold its value. Cool car none the less.

Then you better be driving a beater with a tape deck and own no high end electronics or be paying for a cell phone since at your age all that money could be going to investments as well.

He could be doing what i often do, which is buy a toy if it is a good deal, use it a year or so and then sell it for what i paid if not more.

Look at it this way.

Houses are cheap right now. Corvettes are not. They are pretty much the Harleys of cars. Nothing economy-wise will really majorly affect their value.

Idiot.

No one is talking about houses that people already own being a good investment...BUYING one now would be the investment because you can get them cheap.

Why does it matter what someone does with their own money, especially if it doesn't involve paying someone to rape you?

If someone and their driver's license can swing a Corvette while they're young, more power to them.

Now, if that person happens to be Skooterbuilt, then the money most certainly came from his parents.
