Default Wyoming guy moving to wisconsin soon!

I am a wyoming man moving to Bonduel Wisconsin in the next few months...
I have been a member of the backcountry crawlers here in central wyoming for the last few years, and will be looking for a club to join once I reach wisconsin...

I currently wheel a 2000 jeep tj, 2.5L, 5 spd., black diamond 3 inch lift with 33's...

here's a pic or two of my rig...

Thanks, didn't get to do any wheelin today, but helped out a club member...had to take out his tranny, resurface the flywheel and install a new clutch,,, that took awhile, but also found a leaking brake line and a few other things on his ford truck.

At least we got it all up and running again and he is ready to join the rest of us once again...

Welcome to Wisconsin and to GreatLakes4x4.com. Only being 30 minutes from Green Bay, you are far enough out to not be bothered, but close enough to parts stores. Watch out in Shawano, there is a group of wierdos called S.I.S.T. I run my stuff up in Crivitz called the pipeline. Some of it is rock crawling, some of it is trail riding, some of it is mud, and even a few snow runs in winter. Check out WI4x4.com. There is also a local Jeep club TitletownJeepers.com.

took the xj wheeling today, yes it's mine now,,, it did great!!! a little damage at the end though, climbing up a muddy waterfall bent the draglink into a hula hoop and still drove it home about 20 miles with no real problems... I have some extra heim joints laying around, have to get a tube adapter and order a length of dom tubing, and then I will make a stronger draglink...

On another note, the 36" bias humvee tires did pretty well, just don't clean mud out very fast,, think I will need to take the groover to them!

here's a pic of the draglink when I took it off...

Got it off, straightened it with the aid of a 20ton press at my friends work, cut and welded a second bar to it (gasp, yes I welded, penetrated well but looks ugly), put it back on the xj and drives better then ever!!
