Default wont go into 4 LO

i have a 2000 gmc sierra and it has an electronic t-case. and it will shift into 4 Hi just the way it should. But when try to shift into 4 Lo the light will just keep blinking and wont switch over.
Any help would be nice

Vehicle has to be stopped(not moving), trans needs to be in neutral or park, then select 4lo, same process to take it out of 4lo.

If you are stopped like the last guy said and its still not working, it may need an encoder motor.

okay now i jut feel stupid lol. i went out and ttryed it and it worked. i just figured that if you can switch into 4HI when in Drive and not moving you should be able to shift into 4Lo.

Don't feel bad. Ten years at a gm dealership I saw a lot of real "stupid" stuff.
What is worse than not getting in to 4low, is when someone drives in off the freeway with it stuck in 4 low. "I wondered why it was showin 4000 rpm and sounded like it was reving really high".
