since it is Friday and nice out, here is a second picture. It should help put the drivetrain questions to rest.

The axles are a front superduty D60 and a rear Ford D60. Kind of....
The superduty housing is flipped and is now the rear axle. The front axle is the original rear D60 housing flipped. Outers are Superduty.

I cant roll my rig out of the garage until I kick the harbor freight tools out from under it and plug all the leaks with jb weld. See, you dont have to be sponsored to drop names of high end companies.

Why not both? She could drive the thing while you and I enjoyed each others' company.

See this rig in person at the Michigan Off Road Expo. June 18/19,2011 at the Birch Run Expo Center. Stop by the Ironman Offroad display and get Bone's autograph.

front to rear weigh dist will actually be about 10% differnt than the MCM front engine race chassis. The main advantage is clearing up space in the front to give you an "up-hill" suspension geometry to help in the bumps (think of an IFS A-arm on an angle). You want your axle to move up and back when it hits a bump. Most 4 link rigs have the axle move up and forward, or just up at best.
