Default ZJ Prop valve for TJ disk conversion...

Well, I need another ZJ proportioning valve for another modification I am doing. Picked up a TJ with a drum brake D44 in the rear and I am using the ZJ brakes from my partout to convert the TJ to disks. The braking system in the ZJ is destined for my XJ so I need another prop valve and bracket from a disk ZJ. Thanks for any help you can provide, I hope to hear from someone soon.

FWIW, I installed a disc rear 44 in my 97 TJ, and I have never changed the proportioning valve. I know the interwebs say you have to, but mine will stop 36" TSLs well within what I consider to be a safe distance, and the pedal is really quite solid.

I am probably going to just do this O-ring thing I keep reading about. People seem to say it works well. I would still prefer to do the ZJ valve (or a disk break TJ one) just so I have it done right. Did some fast stopping tonight on the back roads to get an idea of stopping distance (I am new to drum brakes) and there is definitely a noticeable difference compared to my car so after tonight I am REALLY looking forward to getting the disks on there. Plus I also found out the rotors and pads on my ZJ were pretty much brand new when I got it :) Now I just hope all the E-brake stuff is still in good enough shape. And that I can re-use the soft lines easily. Thanks for the feedback, appreciated.

I went to auto parts store and ordered a ajustable valve for $50.00 and put it on the front brake line. Works great.
