Default TH350 with 4wd tailshaft

I'm looking for a TH350 with 4wd tail. Have money to trade...or my THD350 with 2wd tail.

I like that idea...but I was told in order to install that tailshaft you had to disassemble the trans. Can you just unbolt the old and bolt up the new or does the thing have to be torn down front to back?

you need to take everything out from the front. A competant guy can do it in an hour or less. (I watched it done in about 20 minutes last weekend). Probably about $100 cost, depends on who does it.

You could talk to tranny tom on this board, he is very good.

Good time to look through the trans anyway to see if it needs anything.

I have one that I am looking at selling if you don't swap your tail shaft. It was completely rebuilt and installed in my jeep that I only wheeled a couple times before I tore it apart. PM me if your interested in it.
