OK....Well after a short summer break, I finally got the Jeep painted, and I'm in the process of putting this thing back together. My initial plans were for this thing to be all black, with some red headlights, to give it that Gravedigger look. But after a few beverages, and the paint in the gun, I changed my mind, and decided to paint it the same colors as my wifes JK (Rescue Green). And I'm glad I did. Really happy with the way the colors contrast each other, just not sure about all the stuff I already painted red. I think I'm going to let it grow on me, cause I'm not re-painting shit.............

All sealed and ready for paint. This is the part where I stop, and say "Shit, after all this work, I cant just flat black it". So.......Into the paint cabinet we go.

Started putting all the armor, and fenders back on. I forgot what a bitch this stuff is to install on fresh paint by yourself. Lot of "F" bombs today, but I got through it. Finished all the links, and the steering today as well. Hope to get the axles back under it tomorrow, and make it a roller by the weekend.

For the life of me I can't find any imagines on the webz - nor recall what show, but I have recently seen a cartoon that had a Praying Mantis that played a villian. He was green and had these big red bulging eyes!

Anywho, looks awesome!

Its funny you mention that. As I was painting the rear coil springs last night, I was battling with my self to continue painting them, or stop and get a set of air shocks. FOCUS........
Funny how you know I'm looking at another project. It is half the reason I have been putting some good time in on this thing lately. I've had my eye on another Model A, but need to get this finished before I start anything else. Been collecting parts for a couple years now, and have an opportunity to buy a very nice 30 A Sedan body. Sooooooo, No rest for me.
