Default 700r4 info

I have an 88 GMC 1500 that has a bad transmission. I pulled it out to replace it with another 700r4 but now I have an issue. The one that was in the truck has a cable kick down and the other has a green plug. Also the transfer case adapter is different size. Any help or ideas would be great. What can I do?

Uploading pictures now.
The one with the green plug is a 4l60E and will not work without a computer.

I have not put it in. Wasn't sure if something could be wired or if I have to buy a different one.

They make stand alone controllers but they are not cheap...best bet would be sell that tranny and get a 700r4.
