TH 400 Rebuild

I have a 1987 V20, thats a 3/4 ton full size Chevey pick up truck.
In 1987 the changed the K to a V. This caused some confusion in the early years.
I'm about to have my TH400 rebuilt. It has well over 200,000 miles on it.
I have owned it since new. In fact I had to order it from the factory since the new style 88's where allready on the show room floors and I could not find one.
The sales man was not too happy he had to order a truck when he had a lot full of the new style.
well to get down to basics here, I lost reverse in the tranny.
All the forward gears work but no reverse.
I'm also planning on having the updated hub and sprag installed with a new heavy duty torque converter.
The 208 TC will be getting new input and out put seals on it.
I plan to stroke the 5.7 liter to a 383 in the future. It is a TBI motor "K" motor.
What are some of the best options for the TBI.
I want to keep it that way but will I need to upgrade the TBI for more CFM's.
I was a 4 barrel guys for years but now i wont drive anything thaat is not FI.
what are your thoughts on the TBI upgrades.
I hear the Holley units are not as good as the OEM TBI's.

Some upgraded parts with a quality rebuild on the th400 should be good, make sure you check the chain on the t-case too.

I'm not really much help on the TBI stuff.

Why are all these questions about transmissions and intakes in the axle tech?
