Default 87 chevy 350tbi ?

When truck is in park will idle up automatically then idle back down every once in awhile also while driving down the rd motor will bog down the go back to normal and it will do it everyonce in awhile need help not a chevy guy

water in the fuel or fuel delivery issue. check fuel pressure, for tbi it should fall in the range of 12-15psi max. if that checks out throw on a new fuel filter and add some dry gas.

does it hiccup or backfire at all?

Yep change the fuel filter, there cheap. I got some bad gas once in the blazer ran like shit idled high and when i changed the filter it was back to normal

Have you checked for any codes? It's an "O.b.1." port. So, you'll have to short the plug out inside and look for a flashing code on your check engine light.
