I have a 1978 frame, it needs the back rebuilt/plated and the passenger inside rail fixed. I can throw in a new uninstalled rear cross member also.

I know there are some differences but will a YJ frame work for you? I have an excellent YJ frame, recently replated, wire wheeled, and painted. SBC motor mounts welded in place. Includes the fuel tank with skid, new fuel line and brake line from the tank up to the proportioning valve. $400 OBO

(FYI) Stock CJ axles won't mate up to a YJ frame.

Thanks for pointing out one of the couple of differences. That's why I asked if a YJ frame would work for him.

I have a 79' cj7 frame, replaced the back 6" of frame rail, and rear cross-member. Had it sand blasted & hot dip galvanized, has not been used since. $400.00
