troubleshoot, and fix yourself. then you just need a recharge. much cheaper.

We have a machine here in Romulus if you want to make the drive . I think my dad charges 50 dollar to vacuum it down and refill with dye .

How would it get overcharged? Were you trying to make it snow inside your car?

You do know that modern car AC does not leave the compressor engaged full time, right?

I reluctantly went to a Morissette garage(use to be the best back in the day), but they confirmed it was overcharged and said they wouldn't service my car because I put 2 cans of refrigerant with LEAK SEALER in it. They didn't charge me for their diagnosis so that was a nice surprise.
So I drained the a/c into a pop bottle and refilled the system and all is good again!
