Packaging on one of those trucks is a beast, with out hacking the frame all to pieces or lifting it to the moon, or completely redoing all the cross members, you are stuck with the shorter arms. For what the owner wanted to accomplish, and the type of wheeling he plans on in the near future, this set up will work.

Are those custom built link arms or off the shelf items? Almost look like the link arms off a Skyjacker lift kit for 98-02 Dodge Rams.

Curious to see your build list if you have one.

all custom 2"...1/4 wall d.o.m. 250# coils extended un compressed @22" ...1 1/4"currie johnny joints at one end bushings at the other... overall fun build... just tough to keep lengths and angles in check without cutting the hell out of the frame and crossmember...all in all it came out great ...drives awesome ...rides great and flexes very well... a few brackets from ballistic the rest the good old fashioned way with a lotta grinding...lol...

Question, why did you decide to use stud-type shocks than the normal, eyelet shocks?

no real reason other than ease of replacement and funtionality they are heavy duty monroe shocks for a yj...in this application they offer 14 plus inches of total wheel travel and the dampening of a factory style replacement shock offers a great on road ride without being too harsh ...and a bonus that every parts store has them on the shelf in case you destroy one playin' ...

actually the colorados run pass drop t cases...i know... goofy l.o.l....but his case is trashed he was going to get another used one ...but im not sure what he has decided...we will have to see when we finish the build ...if we go with another stock case we have to custom build an adapter to go to a flat flange style shaft on the front because the front yoke is only available as a ball style c.v. shaft... similiar to the front shaft on newer explorers only uses 4 bolts in a goofy pattern instead of 6 bolt common pattern...one step at a time...

This is the diff from driver side to pass side because of a bent frame
