Today's Protest in Lansing, Michigan:
VIDEO: Protesters Demand 'Recall Rick'
VIDEO: Looking a Bit Like Madison

DO SOMETHING Tomorrow, Wednesday, in Lansing!
Wednesday, March 16th: Stand Up for Michigan
Join the Michigan AFL-CIO affiliate unions and Working
Michigan from noon-5:00 PM for a giant protest to say
NO to GOP attacks on Michigan's middle class

see video @

Letter to My
Fellow Michiganders
"I'm asking everyone who can to take Wednesday off and head to the State
Capitol in Lansing to protest the cruel and downright frightening legislation
currently being jammed down our throats ... Governor Snyder, once elected,
yanked off his nice-guy mask to reveal that he is in fact a multi-millionaire
hell-bent on destroying our state and turning it over to his buddies from
Wall Street ... Trust me, you will rue the day you sat home and did
nothing while thieves posing as politicians stole your
Great Lakes State from you." – Michael Moore

This facinates me.

We have aguy who has called him self Rockstar
who has Charlie Sheen's image as his avatar,
asking people to take a day off of work
to go protest against a person trying to act as a good steward of the public tax dollar?

I assume he would consider him self Liberal, Votes Democrat' Is a union member.

Rockstar, so you know. I will be at work tomorrow generating income that will be taxed to suppliment the retirement benifits that your union officials have coerced the cronies they have voted into office to support with those same supplimental dollars.

Does this seam fair to the tax paying community?

Michael Moore is another Al Sharpton/ Jesse Jackson.
The only difference is that Michael Moore is a very rich man who plays the poor working class stiff. The corperations that he demonizes are the same that he invests in. He does not use union workers on his movie sets.
He is a disgustingly rich man acting as a blue collar worker. Don't be fooled by his role.

I don't know what WI's capitol is like or what the area around it is but I don't know if I'd want to be in Downtown lansing for too long at night.

BTW, our union posted the exact same message in our break room at the bus garage. Do they just assume all thier members are Democrats? Our says "Republician Driven Attacks". They also made sure to mention that if the bill goes through all all transportation, janitorial, and grounds for school districts will be forced to be privatized. Which, in about 3 years (after the 'honeymoon' period), will destroy any budget they have. I haven't read the bill, but I doubt that is actually what it says.

Sweet. The only people that can protest are the people that don't have to be at work. Irony?

I saw on the news today that teachers brought their kids to protest with them. I see this as being wrong on so many levels. Those teachers should be fired. If I was a parent of one of those kids I would demand it.

I wonder how many people there actually read the bills they were there to protest? Did someone bring a projector to play the Rachel Maddow video on a loop?

Rockstar is a fucking douche.

It amazes me that people want to recall Rich Snyder and they are to stupid to understand that they cant until he has been in office a year. Fucking dirtbags.

I think you should have allowed them to arrest you in protest, and went to jail prodley where you would serve your debt to society mopping the floors in general population in isolated hall ways where the guards don't go and their is poor lighting.

Bunch of uninformed union dipshits.

Doing whatever their union bosses tell them to do, but don't understand they are being used.

I doubt you even got off your ass today.

Do you really think anyone believes anything you say? Or cares for that matter.
How does it feel to be liked as much as that Wickeddicklicker asshole?
