Default ***SOLD*** stroker parts ***SOLD***

BLOCK:
01 jeep cherokee block (will fit anything but Wjs, however you may need different motor mounts, i was going to put it in a 2000 wrangler)
Block was degreased and is clean
bored .060 over, honed with diamond hones to get a platue finish (perfect finish and crosshatch)
caps were ground, brand new main bolts installed (from dealer), the mains were aline honed back to perfect stock spec
I had two options, get rid of the main cap girdle and use ARP bolts or keep it and use stock bolts. So i opted to buy brand new bolts for strength plus i have never seen one of these engines come apart at the mains and i figured the girdle added more strength than the bolts would.
New cam bearings installed in it
And it was milled about .025 i believe. I know that with the piston/rod combo it needs, it will have .010 clearance. (plus at .040 gasket of course)
Its ready to be put together

looking to get 800 out of the block and considering the work thats been done to it, i dont think thats to bad of price. 60 more and you can have the engine stand its on too.

RODS:
4.0 rods
these make it a long rod stroker instead of a short rod using 4.2 rods. Basically it gives a little more dwell time at the bottom of the intake stroke to pack more air in the cylinder and people have also told me that its better for bearing life and help reduce piston slap but i cant confirm that, but in short, longer rods are better.
Beams were polished and then they were shot peened for strength
New arp bolts where installed then the big end was resized to stock spec.
They were also balanced end for end within half a gram

$150

CRANK:
4.2 crank 4CW
Was ground .010 under on the rods and mains and the oil holes where chamfered
magnafluxed
Dynamically balanced (wasnt far out to begin with but its perfect now)
shot peened for strength

$250

SOLD
INTAKE:
99+ style intake manifold and TB, no sensors

$100

SOLD
EXHAUST:
Dynomax stainless steel ceramic coated header (made for a cherokee im not sure what else it will fit)
6 into 2 into 1 design comes with piping to go all the way back to the cat
Has one spot where it got dented (could be pushed out i think because its near the collector) and has a few scratches (i bought it used and have not used it myself)

$125 bucks

I also have other things i will throw in with the block like a timing cover (soda blasted and clean), oil pan, brass core plug set, blancer, and im sure there is a few things im forgeting.

I will make a package deal for everything if someone wants that. This was not meant to be a cheap low budget stroker build, if you put this stuff together and finish it off right with a good cam and some head work then it should be making 300hp 350ftlb no problem which is saying ALOT for a I6. To give you a idea, most short rod strokers are in the 240-260 range.

Also id be more than willing to help someone select the remaining parts needed to finish this thing. The reason im selling it is i lost interest in it and im probably going to sell the jeep i was going to put it in and i really dont plan on owning anything with a i6 again.

Good engine build, sounds like to me. Just needs some custom forged pistons from keith black and you're all set. Free bump for you.

Well i have a set of those too. The reason i didnt list them is because i think im going to return them because i can still get my full purchase price back. But if someone wants this within the next week then id sell them too.

Id have to have 400 bucks for them. I can get 415 back minus shipping.

And they are the 21cc dish ones, should make it right around 10.01 to 1 compression. Which of course means it would need premium but i think it would be well worth it! I would love to see someone buy all this stuff and make this engine come to life. I have SOOOO many hours of work into it, it will be sad to see it go.

Package deal
Block (with stand)
Rods
Crank

$1100

If you were to build this engine id be willing to bet that just your machine shock bill would be more than that!!!

Basically if you buy the package, you would still have to buy a few other things like a Cam, oil pump, bearings and seals. Then slap your stock head, intake man, and exhuast on it and it would be ready to go. There are a few other things you could do like porting the head your going to run, and port matching everything which would probably help alot but that wouldnt cost you anything besides time.

oh and that price is you coming to pick it up! Id be willing to help with delivery but im not going to drive aross the state for free. We could work something out if you wanted though.

May consider part trades for stuff. I like guns (handguns mainly), i want a sandblast cabinet, a tig welder, who knows what else.

bump. Make me a offer, this is taking up way to much room and at this point i have no reason to finish it because i sold my only 4.0 powered vehicle.

Only change is the block has some very ligth surface rust from sitting in the garage. It has a heavy coat or wd40 on it so most of it if not all wipes right off. Worst case there might be a couple spots you might need to hit with some steel wool or a scrubby pad or something.
