Default Michigan is screwed?

Anyone else tired of this extremest "journalism" from both sides? I can barely even watch this one it's so annoying.

Apparently getting rid of the earned income tax credit, taxing pensions, dropping the ludicrous MI small business tax, and making a flat 6% business tax is taking all the money from the poor and old people and giving it to the rich people.

1) I'm sick of the "news" in general as it's all slanted bullshit...why can't anyone just tell it like it is??

2) I'm sick of all the "old" people and the "poor" people crying about the government "taking" their $$.

To the old people: at least you have a fucking retirement and social security - when I'm your age, I won't (SS anyway...retirement is all me, but the dollar will fail and I'll be screwed about mid-life).

To the poor people: Get off your ass and do something. Recognize the reason you're in the position you are is because of you bad decisions....and then make good ones to better yourself.

I just don't understand how "poor" people are getting screwed by the EITC being revoked. Do people that qualify even pay taxes?

Did any of you know that 1/3 of the population is on some form of government handout as to the year 2000 there was about 22% of the population expecting money. More and more people are expecting to have somebody take care of them.

1/3? 22% is more like 1/4.

thats why I moved. I live in a state with lower taxes, higher wages and less stringent gun laws. One of my favorite things about wyoming is that supressors and other nfa items are legal for the average joe to own, opposed to them being illegal in MI for anyone but sot ffl holders to own.

I like it and can't wait to see what that 1.8 billion tax cut to business generates.

Yes. She did the same thing with that bill as the right did with the health care bill. A total misrepresentation.

No, you're wrong. This entire mess is totally the fault of the educated $18 an hour cop, fireman, teacher & EMT thinking they are worth too much. They should all be punished accordingly and stripped of any pay and benifits that are more than enough to keep them alive during the useful portion of their lives! It's public service, shouldn't you be happy enough just helping protect and educate the public here on our homelands? Maybe we can use this as precedent to remove pay and health benefits from our military? Then cap ER doctors and nurses earnings at $60-80k a year to save more money...etc...

Next, change the emergency manager laws that are already in effect and working to ones that strip any and all local input or control. Then cut off all revenue sharing to the 509 Michigan municipalities that are getting it so we can in turn hand them all over to a central power or make them company towns. Screw local rights, big government knows best.

Sincerely

Karl Marx
