what does that mean? you could never buy something that right from the factory so it would have to be hand built

Yes we will be able to pinch the front because we removed the firewall and moved the motor back to better balance the rig. We will build a new firewall where we want it.

Just made a deal on some bigger tires so now have clearance under the 60's!!

Any advice on full hydraulic steering? Just bought a set up but not sure on the do's and don'ts. Any suggestions on figuring the correct hose diameter for this?

Got rid of the old rig last summer and am going crazy waiting for this to get done.

I always like to see a Tracker build.......shows creativity not following the masses.
Putting a small block in that will surely make it a handful. Geoboys 2.7 alum V6 was more than enough for typical Michigan wheeling.
What wheel base are you shooting for?
Suspension?

We are setting the wheelbase at 110". 4 link suspension front and rear. I agree about the motor, originally was planning on a 3800 motor but already had the v8 so decided to go that route. Will be using coil springs for now but h hopefully upgrading to coil overs in the future. I am kind of surprised at the comments......expected to get some #rap for this build. I just like to build something different, think this fits the bill.

You're going to want better diff gears than that, 5.38's would be my choice for your setup but to each their own.

Cool build, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Sorry for no updates lately. Rolled my sons tracker at Bundy in June and broke my hand. Cast came off this week and now 6 weeks of rehab before they will let me do any real work. Guess this will be a winter project now. Any suggestions on wheelbase would be appreciated. Planning on 110". Amy opinions on this? Also 95geo why 5.38. I had 4.88 in my last truck and loved them for crawling but could never get any wheel speed to climb sand or dirt hill climbs. That is why I was going to go 4.10, but am always open to ideas.
