82 CJ-7 project

Bought this 82 CJ-7 she's gonna be a project, but i think some welding, a little bondo and paint and it'll be pretty good

got alot done in the last 2 weeks, the floor is solid and got it all patched up where it need it, seats are in and carpet is in too

i am going to try and get some shackles under it first. lifts are a bit out of my price range right now, but i'm going to wait until i start breakin axles to swap em. i have 3 parts jeeps with the same axles so i figure i'll have some spare parts to swap before i need to invest in good ones

took it out for the first test run today out on my parents property. Did pretty good. Getting new tires either today or tmrw.

After a long break from any work getting done on the jeep I was able to talk to Darryl into helping me make tube fenders from scratch. Big thanks for the time and help he gave. There was alot of WTF's and scratching our heads, but in the end we got it figured out and here is the pics with the end prodcut

Those are all drivers side cuz that is what took the longest and was our side to figure everything out on. Not nearly as many of the passenger side
