Default Superduty Door switch?

Where the hell is it?

Dome light won't turn off, door ajar light on dash stays lit. It's dark and tough to find, no luck in the driveway....

Default Door ajar

Take a can of WD40 and spray in the door latch all around inside it then open and close the door a bunch of times then spray some more . Mine used to do that too then after getting it to break free with the WD I sprayed white lithium in there and havent had a problem with it for a couple yrs .

I found that on google as well.

Sprayed it, haven't been back outside, but at least I know the culprit.

Mounts in the bottom of the door latch assy, gets gummed up and sticks. Not too bad to replace if WD40 dosen't work.

It has worked for me many a time. I would also check weatherstripping, seal, bumpstops etc. Especially with as much ice/ snow we've had.
