Default Hydraulic steering

Anyone out there got any tips or ideas for hydralic steering?? Ive got an orbital valve mounted to my steering column already just wonderin if I can use stock steering pump off of 78 ford er what

i used a stock pump with mine and have hydraboost brakes also. just make sure you have a resivor with some volume and a cooler and you should be fine

i made a container out of some aluminum tube. capped the ends with a filler on the top, return in the side close to the top. then out of the bottom no less than a an10 or 3/4 size hose connected and sealed to the top of the factory pump. blocked off factory return on pump. mine is ran in this order and 2 years of trouble free use, pump-hydroboost-steering orb-return to cooler (tranny cooler or equivalent) then ressevor

almost for got, make sure you vent resivoir filler cap. and mount the resivoir higher than everything in the system.

i use the stock resevoir and put a 1 1/2 rubber tube to 1 1/2 steel nipple and screwed on a
p.s i used 2 hose clamps
