took it to sticks of romeo bog 9-10-11 to give it a test run. all in all it did a good job the 33 werent much of a match for all the trucks on tractor tires but i did have fun and beat the jeep good. i did find out exhaust on the drivers side is to low my axle truss smashed the pipe. besides that all went well. i did relize i need bigger tires and more hp though lol. i am happy with the 318 and cant wait for the day i can drop the 360 thats 30 over in my garage in the jeep. but that is a later project need lift first.

cut my crossmember open and droped my lca brackets as much as i could and still get a socket on bolt to tighten them. what anyones thoughs on how strong this setup will be.

jeep sitting at ride height the jackstands in front are 1/8" from actually touching bumper. i now have 36" from the bottom of bumper to ground and cant wait to get rear done.

well jeep project took a step backwards. i was setting up the lca and didnt relize that they were binding up on the lca brackets. turns out my lca brackets are both slitly aimed in towards center of jeep. when i ordered my truss kit 2 years ago t&t customs must have sent my the wrong brackets instead of straight brackets. so now i have to dissamble the axle grind off the lca mounts and start fresh. blows big time

Always a pain doing things twice been there done that. Jeep looks good however the stock cross member is going to twist up and fail sooner rather than later handling the stress of those links mounted to it. I'd look into building a stronger cross member. Always liked that color of Cherokee.

crossmember isnt stock. it is a 2x6 1/8 wall that i made and put frame plates to side also. i hope it holds cause that could really suck.

Went back and found the pics of the cross member, I missed those, thought from your description you just opened up the stock cross member and added the mounts to it.
