got the electric fan kit in yesterday and mounted it to the radiator. then found out i dont have the clearance for the center fan to run the schroud so i had to remove it. also set up the lokar kickdown and throttle cables and ran my trans lines. the trans lines are all metal except the 2 ft at the trans cooler. going to reinstall headers tomorrow and hopefully fun some fuel lines

ended up being a bad plug lead coming off the distributer. fixed that prob and she fired right up. got cam broke in and took her for a ride. this thing is evil and i can see alot of broken parts in the future. i can get it to bark 2nd at only 4,000 rpms and havent even tried to actually beat on it yet. by the end of the weekend i will hopefuly have the unibody plated and then ill she what shes got.

got the complete xj unibody stiffiner set which comes with 3 peices for each side of jeep. started at 10 am and quite for the day at 5. only was ably to get the passenger side middle and front plates welded in. here are some pics. the set is really nice and so fare hasnt been that bad to put in. just used some jackstands, floor jack and 5 8" c clamps to keep it tight. what u guys think so far?

it wasnt bad at all. very time consuming because there is alot of plug welds to fill in. the undercoat came off easy with a 41/2 60grid sanding disc on my angle grinder. striped one side in about 1/2 an hour. the center rail u just need some c clamps and a few jackstands and a floor jack. i lowered the cross brace anout 1/2 an inch and slid the stiffiner into place and retightened the crossbrace. from there u have to form the stifffiner to the unibody but that was ease a couple of well placed jack stands and the weight if jeep will put it into its place. front section i unbolted brake lines and pulled them away and also shocks. i didnt remove coils just worked around them which wasnt bad at all. once again a few c clamps and weld it in.

well been pushing hard to finish up the little stuff. want to have it ready for a mudbog sept 10th. i have been driving it and i have to say im inpressed at the power the little 318 puts down in the jeep. i got the rest of the unibody plated and also made up side plates for the t case/trans crossmember. i plan on running a long arm setup in future so i figured i would make it extra strong. also put a performance mopar ingition kit on it with a orange box and got new valve covers because i couldnt keep the stock old set i hade from leaking with the 80lbs of oil pressure this thing it making at 45mph and 3000rpms lol. also completely undercoated the jeep and made it look like new and try to keep the rust away for a little longer. well here is some progress pics
