How do you like that handguard? We have one with the same thing at work. I always thought that thing would just cook your hand with it being so close to the gas block.

It gets warm after a couple mags, but not any more than any other rail. I like that I can wrap my hand all the way around it, really helps control the rifle when shooting action rifle competitions.

best group so far was 5 shot 6" group at about 700 yards. Hand loads of 110.5gr IMR7828 and 250 grain sierra spbt. Nothing spectacular but not bad from an unmodified factory barrel/receiver.

and it shoots like a dream. very little recoil with a brake and limbsaver pad. weighs something like 20 lbs though.

My compensator gets lots of laughs at the indoor matches. Didnt help that I was shooting M193 instead of my usual stuff as well. My ears still hurt from shooting in the barrel.
