must be the pic, nothing leaves my shop crooked, well except for Roadhouse after a few Miller Lites

What kind of specs you looking for? Made from 7" C channel per the customers request. Most of my bumper builds are formed blanks and are built to each vehicle individually. But with anything coming from here it will be whatever the customer wants.

Nothing specific, I'm only curious as to the weight/metal thickness ect..

I looks like it weighs 400lbs but the jeep doesn't appear to have 400lb bumpers.

I have been putting brackets and such together since I was in high school, creating replacement parts for tractors/trailers when they break ect. Building things for for jeep has caught my interest. I own a welder, drill press and chop saw ect and have been building things for giggles and grins (plow for my lawnmower for example). The terribly simple bumper on the front of my jeep was built with 5/16 angle, after I removed my old bumper I realized my frame rails are only 1/8th inch or so.

I have been researching the ways of jeep fab, judging by your work I figured you were a good person to pester with material specs. Most of the stuff I have built is way overkill, pretty certain I got the materials correct with my
cross member
but haven't really gotten any feed back from the peanut gallery yet.

Im just being nosey and jealous of your skills

Shawn

Edit: wow! been a LONG time since I've seen the Stroebel name or anything from Saginaw. A very good memory in that parking lot! Who do you wheel with in Saginaw/hemlock/charlie town?

Heavy lol
the front is approx 110 pounds, the rear around 80 I'm guessing
Really can't wait to get the pics from the customer after paint and the lights are installed. Two PIA's in the bumper with two Hella 500's on the cross tube in front of the winch.

X2 Maybe its the pictures but the rear tab surfaces appear not to be in square and the holes not centered, which is probably why they appear like they are mounted crooked. The eye wants the horizontal lines on the tabs to be parallel with the top and bottom of the bumper and when they are not something looks out of whack. The devil is in the details.

Bumpers look Great the fitment with the body lines are kick ass! X2 Very nicely done

Specs?

lol @ Jim, thanks buddy!

Creative Fab previously known as Ironman Offroad until the honorable Dale Stroebel purchased it. I have went back to my roots as a fabricator creating metal art for both rolling canvases and stationary objects such as furniture.

I can be found in Midland under my welding hood next to my bender and bandsaw. Give me a call for your special fabricating needs. 989 430 9381

Thanks,

Pat Kinne

btw, this Jeep is currently at Ironman Offroad getting it's new height via a suspension lift and new rubber.

This CJ bumper was built for the same gentleman that owns the XJ in the above pics. He wanted an old school feel to his CJ so this is what he came up with and had me build. The holes in the front house a pair of Hella 500's
