Default stud question

I need new studs for my F250 3/4 ton D44, it has 1/2-20 studs on it that are junk, so looking to replace them and wondered if I could replace them with 9/16-18 studs.

I would think I can but just want to double check before I order a box of them from fastnal.

thanks

well what was it?

I'm not looking to pay $3.50 a stud so figure if I need 32 of them, then should be able to get a discount buying 40 from fastnal.
